We are fortunate to have friends and family from many different parts of the U.S. and abroad and we would be honored if you could make the trip to New York to celebrate with us.  To help with trip expenses, we secured discounted rates at the hotels outlined in the table below. If you are not familiar with the city, check out the I NYC section to better understand the different neighborhoods…in NYC, it’s all about location, location, location : )
To give you some context on the hotels we selected below, the W - Union Square would be the most convenient hotel on the day of the wedding, as it is very close to the reception site. In fact, this is where Nick and I will be staying the night of our wedding.  Union Square is also an area that is easily-accessible to most neighborhoods of Manhattan. The W – New York is closer to the ceremony site and within walking distance to the east side of Central Park. Midtown East is a quieter neighborhood, particularly on the weekends as it is a commercial area.
Dream Hotel is in Midtown West, just a few blocks from Central Park and right under a main shopping area on 57th Street. I would often stay at this hotel through my old job; it is a nice boutique hotel and generally pretty quiet. The Algonquin is in Times Square, right in the heart of things. If you have never been to Manhattan, this would be the epitome of the NYC-tourist experience. Lastly, the Hotel on Rivington, which is in the Lower East Side, is located right by the restaurant that Nick and I met at : ) If you are coming to New York and looking to party, this is your place. This is a very hip neighborhood of Manhattan and the hotel has an exclusive rooftop bar that is a hot place for “scene-sters”.
Other hotels to recommend but didn’t offer wedding rates would be Soho Grand, Gramercy Hotel, Gansevoort(Meatpacking District), Washington Square Hotel (West Village), 60 Thompson (Soho), The Standard (Meatpacking), Maritime Hotel (Chelsea), Hudson Hotel (Midtown West).  No matter where you stay, every neighborhood of New York has plenty to offer and you are ensured a good time!
